PERFORMANCE OF OUR PRODUCTS
Entreprises Marchand doors and windows offer an original and unique signature for a perfect interior and exterior esthetic.
The mechanical quality and performance of aluminum confers a resistance and durability of great importance in the face of outdoor challenges. It is the material par excellence to counter the rigors of our climate.
Fiberglass is undeniably a favourable choice for the role of thermal bridge, insulation and stability in all of Entreprises Marchand’s doors and windows.
Wood completes the large majority of our products. It confers a warm atmosphere.
ALUMINIUM
Aluminum is a light material that has a large resistance to corrosion and excellent ductility or malleability.
The malleability of aluminum at low temperatures and its facility to adapt to diverse shapes without failing are important qualities for Entreprises Marchand. Thus, Entreprises Marchand obtain a product of exceptional finesse thanks to this material that allows refined lines and great exactitude for each of the sections.
Although it doesn’t corrode easily and it naturally generates a layer of oxide that protects it from corrosion, different types of surface treatments can improve this resistance even more (adonisation, lacquering…).
Another of aluminum’s characteristics is that it is 100% recyclable without degradation of its properties. Recycling it takes very little energy.
Aluminum doesn’t give-off any odour on its own and is a waterproof material.
At Entreprises Marchand, the aluminum is covered with an ultra durable powdered polyester baked paint that necessitates practically no maintenance.
FIBERGLASS
Fibreglass is a light material compared to metals. Thusly, it allows for the reduction of a prolduct’s weight while improving its performance. Notably, it’s appreciated for its properties of chemical inertia, resistance to shock and insulation.
Fibreglass is a thermal barrier (insulator) that conducts neither heat or cold.
Just like aluminum, fibreglass is 100% recyclable. Recycling it necessitates little energy.
.
Fibreglass gives off no odour or gas on its own.
WOOD
Wood definitely adds a touch of warmth to a home’s interior.
Woods chose for their grain and colour are: pine, maple, gean, oak, cherry and mahogany.
Wood interiors benefit from 5-step finishing that confers an ultra-resistant finish.
The choice of finishes is very varied.
